Today’s Audio MASTERCLASS: Success and Wealth do not Matter If You Are Not Healthy
[1:23] – John shares something that he believes about becoming successful that most people disagree with.
- Success is becoming aware of your thoughts because thoughts lead to emotions and emotions lead to actions and actions lead to results that can be positive or negative.
- We have 10,000 thhoughts per day and 80% of it are negative while 95% of it are repetitive. For entrepreneurs it becomes difficult because when they become successful, they become worried that they may change their thought pattern that will cause them not to be successful. They need to get rid of that thought pattern to get to the next level.
- It takes coaching to get them to the next level.
[3:13] – Stephen talks about why health matters.
- Steve Jobs died at 56, he had power and fame but it didn’t matter because he lived a short life.
- You need to pay attention to your health before it becomes a problem.
- Quality sleep is critical in business because it improves creativity and problem solving skills and reduces brain fog. Physical activitiy improves memory and cognitive flexibility and study showed 21% in work productivity for some employees who have some physical activity in their life. Proper nutrition and diet increases energy and concentration.
- Poor health limits your focus, lowers your energy and lack of mental clarity.
- Chronic stress and burnout reduces your creativity and memory and gives you an anxious mood.
- You will be happy and productive if you are healthy.
[5:03] – Stephen shares how he reduced his biological age by 12 years.
- He did a blood test that tests how efficient and effective his body is performing at the cellular level.
- He is in this protocol for about 8-9 years and it decreased his biological age by 1 year for every 6 months that passes the calendar.
[5:54] – Stephen tells how he is doing this.
- It is by reducing his stress, improving his diet, exercise or moving his body regularly. He never sit more than 30 minutes because it shuts down the body. Get up as little as 5 minutes to move around and take a walk.
[7:33] – Stephen shares how to overcome poor health because of bad genes and how 95% of genes can be modified.
- Today, the average life span in America for male is 73 and 79 for female.
- Your DNA is built to last 120 years and it has been scientifically proven. The process of how to get to that age is called Epigenetics.
- In Epigenetics, it regulates how your genes are expressed or not expressed to deal in the major functions of your body. If DNA dictated our life span and people didn’t lived up to their 90s, their diet and lifestyle were more powerful than the DNA they were born with.
[9:28] – Stephen talks about the six things we should remove immediately from our diet.
- These are sugar (artificial sugar in sweeteners and diet drinks), highly processed foods like snack foods, cereals, fast food and fried food, glutein (breads, pastries, donuts) and dairy.
- Do the 80/20 rule which is sticking to your diet 80% of the time and 20% to enjoy the things you enjoy.

[15:07] – Stephen talks about why and how toxins impacts our age.
- 100% of humans have toxins. 93% of the population is from BPAs from plastics, 95% from phalates, 99% from lead, 89% from mercury, 90% from pesticides, 80% from arsenic and 85% from cadmium.
- Each of these toxins at high levels can reduce your life span of about 3-5 years.
- Toxins and other diseases are the cause of death in your 70s.
[16:26] – Stephen talks about why inflammation is the cause of EVERY single chronic disease.
- People get these toxins in the air, food and water in their homes, work place and city they lived in. 48% of the water is contaminated with chemicals and it is not safe to drink tap water without filter. Cosmetics, skin care products and prescription drugs also contains toxins.
- Toxins creates chronic inflammation and chronic inflammation drives all major diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, brain cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, respiratory, autoimmune and gut diseases.
- We need to drive out inflammation in our bodies and we can do it through proper diet, reduce stress, reduce environmental toxins, avoid sedentary lifestyle, good sleep, stop smoking and alcohol intake.
[18:23] – Stephen shares why he believes sleep and stress management are critical and how to get these two right.
- 40% of the population doesn’t get enough sleep which creates massive issues in their bodies. Heart disease, obesity and weight gain, diabetes, weakend immune function, anxiety and depression, neurodegenerative disease, hormonal imbalance and memory issues all stems from having poor sleep.
- To improve in these areas, you need to have consistent sleep schedule, be relax before bedtime, have a cool and dark room, limit the intake of caffeine and screen time before sleeping, exercise regularly, take supplements to help you sleep like melatonin, magnesium glycinate and passion flower.
[20:10] – Stephen shares what are the supplements he live by.
- He takes magnesium glycinate that calms the nervous system and is good to be taken at night.
L-theanine which down regulates the body and emotional system to help you relax and Passion flower which is a natural substance that relaxes your body to help you fall asleep and stay asleep.
[21:18] – Stephen gives his key take away.
- You have to do a test to find out what is going on with your body. Don’t wait until until some disease or chronic ailment takes you down.
- Take a blood marker test once a year to get a baseline and focus on those that needs to be corrected before they become a major problem.
