3 Value Bombs
1) You can do more in one hour than try to multitask. You’re going to waste a lot of time switching tasks. If you focus your brain on one thing, you’ll accomplish more.
2) It’s important to have focus and the ability to remove yourself in the business if you want to scale. That’s critical to grow your business effectively.
3) People are still consuming written content. No matter what they’re looking for in their life, whether it’s business or raising a family or other areas of life, people are consuming written content.

Today’s Audio MASTERCLASS: How to Scale Your Blog to 1,000 Articles a Year all While Working Less
[1:03] – Spencer shares something that he believes about becoming successful that most people disagree with.
- You don’t need to work up to 80 hours a week in order to start a successful business. You can put in a solid 3-4 hours of focused work with no distractions, truly focused and you can accomplish just as much as a lot of these guys that are putting in 60 to 70 hours a week.
[2:59] – Does blogging still work in 2024?
- People are still consuming written content. No matter what they’re looking for in their life, whether it’s business or raising a family or other areas of life, people are consuming written content.
- Starting a blog can involve a lot more than just trying to get traffic from SEO.
[4:25] – Spencer’s decision to his publishing goals.
- He started Niche Pursuits in 2011.
- He went big instead of just publishing less than 100 articles per year, he went 10x with his amount of content.
- He removed himself as the bottleneck and went big, which grew his business and get it to go big.
[6:31] – Replacing ourselves in the day-to-day operation of the business.
- Do it in phases. Do not remove yourself 100% from day one.
- Hire people that are in a similar style to what your niche pursuits.
- Write out standard operating procedures. Make it easy for someone new that will come in to learn and be trained on the processes.

[14:01] – Setting up systems to scale a blog.
- Start with a spreadsheet that lays out some of the general guidelines.
- Conduct keyword research.
- After a blog is written and the outline is adjusted, the author writes the article using the spreadsheet and moves back over to the editor to review, format, put internal and external links and include images.
- An internal link is then created for the blog post to make sure Google finds the content.
[18:14] – Working hard versus working long – what are the results that we can achieve when we work focused.
- You can do more in one hour than try to multitask. You’re going to waste a lot of time switching tasks. If you focus your brain on one thing, you’ll accomplish more.
- Scaling your content can 10x your traffic.
- He added display ads in certain pages for Niche Pursuits to grow its revenue.
