3 Value Bombs
1) We don’t really talk about money that much. Even though some people are making so much more money, it’s really a byproduct of leveraging the four focus factors: time, energy, relationships and money.
2) Time is first. It’s not only about making more money; we’ve got to have a life.
3) Just take one little step. We call it laying the bricks on the entrepreneurial brick road. If you never lay the bricks, you’re never going to get to freedom.

Today’s Audio MASTERCLASS: The 7-Figure Life: How to Leverage The 4 Focus Factors for More Wealth and Happiness
[1:25] – Noah shares something that he believes about becoming successful that most people disagree with.
- Most people think that you need to say affirmations or statements, but it hardly works.
- When you ask empowering questions, it changes your subconscious thought patterns, and that enables you to change your beliefs, change your habits, change your results, and thereby change your life.
[2:35] – A 7-figure life is more than just money.
- We don’t really talk about money that much. Even though some people are making so much more money, it’s really a byproduct of leveraging the four focused factors: time, energy, relationships and money.
[3:55] – What is head trash and why does it keep people stuck in a rut?
- If you think about those goals that you’ve set, what happens for so many people is the very next thing they think to themselves is they can’t do it.
- The very next thing you say after, “I can’t do it because..” is the excuse that you’re going to give yourself. And what’s amazing about this is that you always make yourself right. We humans have an infinite capacity to make ourselves right.
[5:52] – Helping clients to make more in 12 weeks than they’ve made in 12 months.
- On their website it says, “Make more in just 12 weeks than what you made in the past twelve months while winning back one to three hours of your day and four to eight weeks per year.”
- Time is first. It’s not only about making more money; we’ve got to have a life.
- Inner game is everything that happens between your ears that you can’t see directly, but that affects everything you do.
- You have to have the inner game and the outer game if you really want to scale your business.

[11:30] – The unconscious habits of highly successful people.
- Highly successful people are doing certain things unconsciously; therefore, they can’t teach it.
- It’s like that iceberg principle. About 5% is visible above the surface, but it’s the 95% that you can’t see that’s what’s really causing your success or causing you to be stuck.
- Whenever we want to master a habit, we go through those four stages.
-
- Unconscious incompetence, which means you don’t know what you don’t know.
- Conscious incompetence. That means you know that you don’t know.
- Conscious competence, which is you know, you know.
- Unconscious competence, which means you do without thinking.
[13:40] – Willpower is the worst way to change habits.
- We live in a world of infinite distractions right now. And they’re all available at your fingertips.
- A habit has 5 stages — the cue, routine, reward, craving and belief.
- Just take one little step.

0 (44s):
We'll talk about why head trash is the number one reason why so many people feel stuck. Listen to Business Made Simple. Wherever you get your podcasts, Noah, say What's up to Fire Nation and share something that you believe about becoming successful that most people disagree with.
1 (1m 29s):
Most people think that you need to say affirmations or statements like, I am happy I'm rich, I'm successful. And it's not that it's wrong, it just hardly works at all. Basically, it works about one out of four times according to science. So many years ago I invented something called AFFORMATIONS, which are empowering questions like, why am I so happy? Why am I so rich? Why am I always in the right place at the right time? When you ask empowering questions, it changes your subconscious thought patterns and that enables you to change your beliefs, change your habits, change your results, and thereby change your life. So that's something I've been teaching for about 25 years now, John, and it's helped a lot of people. So, there you go.
0 (2m 5s):
Well, Fire Nation has been helping a lot of Fire Nation listeners as well, because this is actually Noah's fifth time on Entrepreneurs on Fire since all the way back in 2012. So we keep bringing him back because he just keeps bringing the heat. And today we're talking about the seven figure life, How to Leverage The 4 Focus Factors for more wealth and happiness. So I wanna talk about a seven figure life because you believe it's more than just the money. What do you mean by that?
1 (2m 35s):
A lot of people say, well, Noah, you know, all you talk about is money. And I'm like, really? I guess you're not paying attention because of course money's important. And I mean, that's the title of the book, the Seven Figure Life People want to make that, that si at least six, but certainly that seven and even eight figures, which we've helped a lot of our coaching clients do over the last 25 years. But what I realized after helping a lot of people double, triple, quadruple their income and record time, I realized that we don't really talk about money that much. It's funny, you know, even though they're making so much more money, it's really a byproduct of leveraging, as I call it, these four focus factors that I talk about in the book. So really when I started to really break it down, I realized that living a seven figure life really comes down to these four focus factors, and they are time, energy, relationships, and money.
1 (3m 23s):
And so money, as I just said, is important of course, but it really is just one of the four focus factors that we need to leverage in order to really get to that, that seven figure life
0 (3m 33s):
Fire nation, the seven figure life, again, it's more than just about the money. And one thing that you know, Noah, for just a fact is that head trash is the number one reason why so many people feel stuck. So I wanna really do a deep dive into head trash, what it is, and specifically why it keeps people stuck in their ruts.
1 (3m 57s):
So for everyone listening, everyone in Fire Nation here, think about your goals, right? Think about what it is that you want over the next 12 months. And you know, people say, well, no, I wanna make more money. I wanna grow my business, I wanna start my business. I wanna have a side hustle, I wanna lose weight, I want to find love. You know, it doesn't have to be just about money or business, it could be anything, right? I want a promotion at work or whatever it might be. And so if you think about those goals or that goal that you're, that you've set, what happens for so many people is that the very next thing that they think to themselves is, eh, I probably can't do it, right? So people say, well, no, I, you know, I wanna write books like you do, I wanna have online courses like you've got, I wanna coach people like you do, but ah, I don't think I can do it. I I don't have the time. You know, I, I can't afford it.
1 (4m 39s):
I, I I'm just too old. I made too many mistakes. I don't know where to start. You see, so the very next thing that you say after I can't do it, because is the excuse that you're gonna give yourself. And what's amazing about this is that you always make yourself right. We humans have an infinite capacity to make ourselves, right? And what I always tell my clients is, this is one area of your life where you don't want to be right. Where you're saying, well, I can't do it because this is one area where you want to question, because all that is, is a belief. But when you believe something, you're gonna act and you're gonna make it true, you're gonna make it true even though there's no reason for it to be true. So this is really the essence of head trash, the voice in your head that as soon as you set that goal that says, ah, I probably can't do it.
1 (5m 24s):
So that's the trash that we need to take out.
0 (5m 27s):
Fire Nation. A lot of great things there. But one thing I wanted to repeat is, when you believe that you are going to do something, when you believe something, you're going to make that true. Like you are going to have this self-fulfilling belief. So that's why it's so important that you get this head trash out of your head. And one thing, Noah, that I've always admired about you is that you've been able to help clients make more in 12 weeks than they were able to make in the previous 12 months, which is just insanity. Let's talk about that.
1 (5m 59s):
Absolutely. You know, a and what I say, and you'll, you know, you see this on our website, is that I help people, entrepreneurs, you know, make more than just 12 weeks than they made in the past 12 months while winning back one to three hours in their day and four to eight weeks per year. Now, that last statement is very important because there's a lot of, a lot of people out there, I call 'em the hustle and grinders, right? The hustle bros. And they're saying, you know, well, here's all you'd have to do to make more money. Just work 18, 20 hours a day, don't see your family, don't take break breaks, don't take vacations. And I'm like, are you nuts? I mean, I, I want a life, right? That's what I mean. That's what the seven figure life is about, as I just talked about.
1 (6m 40s):
The time is first, right? So it's not only about making more money, although of course that's great, but we've got to have a life, right? I grew up with a workaholic father who, you know, worked really hard for his family and really tried to support us and, and, you know, he did a fine job even though we lost our house, the foreclosure when I was 15 years old. So, you know, he, he went through some rough batches there, but he worked all of the time because that's what he was raised to do. And I realized, you know, growing up, I'm like, that's not what I want. I wanna have a life. And so one of the ways that we're able to help people make more than just 12 weeks than they did in the past 12 months while winning their lives back, is we work on these two phases that I call inner game and outer game.
1 (7m 23s):
Inner game is everything that happens between your ears that you can't see directly, but it affects everything that you do. For example, when I'm as a keynote speaker, I get to speak all around the country and around the world to whether it's live or virtual audiences, and I'll often ask my audience members, what is one area of your life where your beliefs don't affect you? And people go, and I go, exactly, there's no place. Your beliefs don't affect you, right? Your beliefs, your beliefs affect your health, your wealth, your relationships, everything. But you can't see a belief. You can only see the effects of it. And so that's your inner game. And that goes back to what I was saying a moment ago about taking out your head trash, right? We've gotta get out of the, get that trash out of there that says, I can't do it because, and then in addition to the inner game, we also have the outer game, right?
1 (8m 9s):
So we have a, a group coaching program called the 12 Week Breakthrough, where exactly, we do exactly that. And the first half of it is just inner game. And what's amazing is, I'll give you a quick example. I had a woman who came to the program, her name's tasa. She lives in Arizona, 68 year old, very vibrant, you know, great personality, but she was plateaued in her business in the first two weeks of us working together. She tripled her investment and we hadn't even gotten to the money part yet. She tripled it in two weeks. That was just from mastering her inner game. But you have to have the inner game and the outer game. If you really wanna scale your business, fire
0 (8m 45s):
Nation, inner game, outer game, are you the full package? You need to be thinking about this as you're going forward, because listen, if you wanna live that seven-figure life, you need to be learning how to leverage the 4 focus factors for more wealth and happiness. Things that we'll be getting to when we get back from thanking our sponsors.

0 (11m 6s):
Noah, you often talk ahire. the unconscious habits of highly successful people. What do you mean by that?
1 (11m 13s):
One of the things that I realized many years ago is that highly successful people are doing things unconsciously that they're not even aware they're doing number one, and therefore number two, they can't teach it. This is why so many people come to me after they've gone to all the gurus out there and they say, Noah, how come I've, I've spent all this money on all these different programs, but I'm still stuck, I'm still plateaued. And I say, well, because they left out all the good stuff. See, it's kinda like that iceberg principle, right? About 5% that's visible above the surface. Well, that's what everybody sees, but it's the 95% that you can't see. That's what's really causing your success or stuckness. And so the point is that these unconscious habits are below the surface. They're below the level of consciousness, even for the person who's doing them, right?
1 (11m 56s):
So I've had the opportunity to interview over 150 millionaires, multimillionaires, even billionaires, and I realize that they are doing things unconsciously that they're not even aware of, and that is in fact, what's causing their success. It's not that they're not doing things on the outside, of course they are, but it's the hidden things, it's the unconscious. So that's why I call my, you know, my program is called The Power Habits of unconsciously successful people. They are literally not even aware of what they're doing. And as human beings, whenever we wanna master a habit, we go through those four stages. First is unconscious incompetence. You don't know. You don't know. Then you have conscious incompetence. That means, you know, you don't know. Then you have conscious competence, which is, you know, you know, and then finally you have unconscious competence, which means you do without thinking, like driving a car, right?
1 (12m 43s):
You had to go through all those stages to drive a car. It's exactly the same with success. So that's one of the reasons that we're able to help people make more in 12 weeks than they did in the past 12 months while winning their lives back, because they're like, I've been trying all this conscious stuff and just keep hitting a brick wall. And so, you know, when you get to that unconscious level, that's when we get what we like to call that hockey stick growth, right? They're going along and all of a sudden whoop, you know, goes through
0 (13m 7s):
The room. This next part is gonna blow people's mind because so many people right now, they think that willpower is their key to success, and they just focus on that. You believe willpower is actually the worst way to change a habit. Tell us more about that.
1 (13m 24s):
When we talk about habits, right? A lot of people come to me and they say, Hey, no, you know, everybody else talks about, you know, I gotta use willpower, and I've been really trying, really working hard, but it's just, it's so hard to stay focused. You know, there's so many distractions out there, and I say, you're right. I mean, we live in a world of infinite distractions right now, and they're all available at your fingertips, you know, on our smartphones. And so the point is that we try to break a habit, let's say like procrastination, right? That's one of the most popular habits that people say, you know, I, I want to break. I want, I, I, I'm procrastinating. I know what to do, and I'm just not doing it. And so I say, okay, willpower is kind of like this. So imagine that you're in your kitchen and somebody comes into the kitchen and they have this freshly baked plate of chocolate chip cookies, right? And, and it just came out of the oven, and you can smell the cookies and you can see, you know, the steam is wafting up and your, your mouth starts to water.
1 (14m 10s):
You're like, oh, man, that really smells, looks good, right? And then they say to you, all right, now, listen, I have to leave. I'm gonna leave these cookies here. Now don't eat a cookie. All right? Now, whatever you do, do not eat a cookie. All right? I have to go. So don't eat a cookie. And then they leave. What are you gonna do? Well, you eat, you know, 12 cookies, I'm sorry. Right? So that's what willpower's like, willpower is kind of like that you're saying to yourself, Hey, don't do that. Meanwhile, you really wanna do that. And we humans don't like to deprive ourselves of anything. So that's why willpower, I'm not saying it doesn't work, I'm just saying it's a very weak muscle. It's like you're, you know, standing on a gold mine, and yet you're digging away with a teaspoon. So what we give you is, you know, what, what I, one of the things that we help people with is show them what a habit really is. And very quickly a habit is five stages.
1 (14m 50s):
The q routine, reward, craving, and belief. So the Q is the trigger that happens, or, or you know, that triggers the habit. Then you have the routine, which is what you do. Then you have the crave the routine, excuse me, Q, routine reward, which is in the brain. You actually get a reward for doing the habit. Then you have a craving, like a craving for chocolate chip cookies, right? It's like, ah, I really want one of those. And, but then you have the belief, right? That's actually ironically the key to the whole thing, because just like I was talking about earlier, we have this head trash that says, I can't do it, right? So people say, oh, well, I'm just a procrastinator, that's just who I am. And no, that's not who you are. That's a, that's a habit that you have developed. So we can simply go in and change the routine by just doing something else.
1 (15m 32s):
Like for example, if you're procrastinating on starting your blog and you're like, oh man, you know, I really need to do this, but you know what? I think I'll go watch Netflix. Well, of course you're gonna watch Netflix because that's easy. That is the comfort in the brain that I was talking about. That's the reward, which is safety. So if we just take that one step and say, okay, I'm just write one article, just take 10 minutes and just do one little thing. And you're like, well, that won't make any difference. Well, it's better than, you know, doing nothing, right? So just take one little step. We call it laying the bricks on the entrepreneurial brick road, right? The entrepreneurial brick road means you know, you're moving down the road. If you never lay the bricks, you're never gonna get the Freedom
0 (16m 6s):
Fire Nation value bombs have been coming at you. And we're gonna end with a bang because Noah's new book, The 7-Figure Life: How to Leverage The 4 Focus Factors for More Wealth and Happiness. Noah, talk to us about this book. Well,

You can go to 7figurelifebook.com, the number seven 7figurelifebook.com. And yeah, in the book, you know, I talked to you about those four focus factors of how to leverage your time, meaning how to stop procrastinating, for example, how to leverage your energy, tap into your four daily resources of daily energy. Then how to leverage your relationships so you attract the right people to accelerate your life and your business. And finally, leveraging your money. How to use what you have to get more of what you want. See, most people, John, are sitting there going, gee, I wish I had more time or energy, I wish I had better relationships and more money. Well, wishing doesn't do anything. You have what you have. And so we have to leverage what we have to get more of what we want.
1 (17m 3s):
I started my company in 1997, over 25 years ago with $800 in a 300 square foot basement apartment, $800 to my name and a book on html. And since that time, you know, we've been able to help people make over 2 billion in, you know, add over 31 million in online revenue. So the point I like to always say is, listen, if somebody like me could do it, anybody can do it.
0 (17m 24s):
