Today’s Audio MASTERCLASS: You Don’t Need an A-Team. You Need a Unicorn Team

[1:11] – Jennifer shares something that she believes about becoming successful that most people disagree with.

Pressure, friction and noise are healthy parts of being successful.

A unicorn team is a group of people including yourself that is motivated, inspired and energized to bring an idea that you believe is so important in the world into the world. They are ignited and rallied to bring that idea to life.

[2:55] – Jennifer breaks down thenine Unicorn Leadership Types.

The three core pillars of the unicorn leadership are the Visionizer, the Strategizer and the Mobilizer. If you multiply each times 3 , you will have nine different types.
If you are a Visionizer is motivated and inspired by ideas. A Strategizer is inspired by results and a Mobilizer is highly motivated by accomplishments.
Each of us has a plus 1 or plus 2 highest motivational strengths in the unicorn leadership types.
She identified herself as SV (Strategist Visionizer) because she leads with strategy and she can only see the vision and can only create a strategy that hits the vision that she sees and when she leads with that, she gets better results.

VV (Visionizing Visionizer) – idea person
VS (Visionizing Strategizer) – lead with vision and the idea pumps them up and how they strategically implement the ideas.
VM (Visionizing Mobilizer) – motivated by big ideas and enjoy doing the daily work.
SV (Strategizing Visionizer) – loves to think about the steps and go for it.
SM (Strategizing Mobilizer) – a thinker and loves results and work on a daily task to get it done.
SS (Strategizing Strategizer) – people who really know how to do things really well.
MV (Mobilizing Visionizer) – leads with demonstration e.g Martha Stewart.
MS ( Mobilizing Strategizer) – a doer first and a thinker second.
MM (Mobilizing Mobilizer) – people you can depend on to get things done daily and support the leader.

If we truly understand what really inspires and motivates us, we create the energy to overcome pressure, friction and noise because when it appears, we will not be distracted because we are in the space of what gives us more energy to bring our ideas in the world.

If you create time but don’t have energy inside of that time, you are not going to create anything great.
To create unicorn energy, you have to understand that unicorn team is not about other people but its about you and your idea first and then who are the right unicorns that you need to rally around you and your ideas.
Ask yourself who is in your space right now, personal and professional. Understand and assess yourself first and then determine who are the people you need to make it happen.
She is an SV , so she will need people who are high M’s or Mobilizers to implement her ideas and strategies.
Focus on the energy you create in addition to the time that you have because without energy, time means nothing.
