Today’s Audio MASTERCLASS: Recover From Burnout and 10x Your Business… In the Same Year!
[1:15] – Emily shares something that she believes about becoming successful that most people disagree with.

- Emily is a a very creative ADHD entrepreneur. She started her food company with the sustainable mission when she was 25.
[3:57] – Why Lil Bucks?
- Lil Bucks makes crunchy snacks and super food toppings from sprouted buckwheat, which is actually a fruit seed.
- They are a leader in the regenerative farming movement. They’re working directly with American farmers to take care of their soil health and make us really nutritious food.
[7:31] – Burnout happening to entrepreneurs.
- Two and a half years of two extremely full-time jobs resulted in burnout for Emily. She didn’t have any processes or any boundaries around work for either her freelance work or her business.
- Burnout is a prolonged period of chronic stress – emotionally and mentally.
- She didn’t want to walk away from the business. They were growing and there were so many reasons to keep going and to bring this into the universe, but she needed to learn how to better take care of her energy

[15:18] – What could have been done differently when encountering burnout?
- Accept burnout – you have to admit that you’re not at the top of your game.
- Like with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, identify what you need to prioritize and what to put at the top of your pyramid.
[18:48] – Finding a burnout coach and the main things that will help you.
- Get someone to help hold you accountable and call you out; create boundaries.
- There are physical symptoms such as getting weaker. The coach will help with the emotional aspect. One of the most important emotions to learn to pay attention to is resentment.
