The Enlightened Passenger – The Advice From A Stranger On A Plane That Could Change Your Life.
3 Value Bombs
1) Do not focus on the 99% of the things you are already doing. Focus on that 1% and start having the compound effect by focusing on the little nuances in that 1%.
2) While the thought leaders of the world, the influencers of the world, the best of the best, what they share and have in common is that they live on purpose. Make sure you found your purpose and that’s how you’re spending your days.
3) Who you surround yourself with will both dictate your success, but also the challenges you have and the struggles you have.

Today’s Audio MASTERCLASS: Lessons Learned From An Enlightened Passenger
[1:05] – Corey shares something that he believes about becoming successful that most people disagree with.
- It’s about the little things that you do well and stacking up those little things. You get the one big thing wrong, it could be detrimental. But if you realize, it’s about stacking all those little things and doing them well. Then you can have a hiccup on one of those little things, and it doesn’t mean the end of the world.
[2:05] – How do you know if you’re surrounding yourself with the right people?
- Who you surround yourself with will both dictate your success, but also the challenges you have and the struggles you have.
- Write down the people that you spend the most time with. Put a plus sign beside the ones that are adding positive energy and put a negative sign beside the ones that are draining you or bringing toxic energy to you and you add them up.
[4:05] – A purpose statement and its importance.
- Corey’s mission statement is to be the guy who motivates, donates, educates, inspires and entertains. If somebody asks you to do something and it’s 4 or 5 out of 5 of your mission statement, it can be your easiest ‘Yes’ and do something without regrets.
[1:25] – Synchronicity as a secret ingredient to success.
- Synchronicity can be a meaningful coincidence or a mysterious coincidence. These are when things happen that don’t seem like a coincidence.
- When you start taking notes of these incidents, things like these start to happen more often or you start noticing these more.
- Some of those synchronicities can end up becoming the biggest successes you’ll have in your business.

[13:17] – Choosing to focus on 1% of the world.
- Do not focus on the 99% of the things you are already doing. Focus on that 1% and start having the compound effect by focusing on the little nuances in that 1%.
- Find that 1% for you and find out how you can improve that 1%.
[15:12] – The word ‘No’ is more important than the word ‘Yes’ to entrepreneurs.
- It was easier to say yes all the time than to say no.
- Say ‘Yes’ to all the things that you love to do and then figure out how to do them later.
- Influencers say no on average 50 times more than the average person. What they tend to do is say no to all the things that won’t move the needle so they can say yes to the few things that will.
[18:30] – What is the Platinum Rule?
- The Platinum Rule is to do unto others as they would have done unto themselves.
- if you’re you’re selling something to somebody, think about how they would want to be treated versus how you would want to be treated and treat them accordingly to how they would want to be treated.
[20:03] – Corey’s key take away and call to action.
- While the thought leaders of the world, the influencers of the world, the best of the best, what they share and have in common is that they live on purpose. Make sure you found your purpose and that’s how you’re spending your days.
