[1:30] – Clay shares why as Entrepreneurs, we Must Exponentially Generate More Leads to Succeed.
- If you have a great product and a great service but without leads, you can’t succeed. You need to have more leads in order to succeed.
[2:36] – David tells his story about his path to meeting Clay Clark and what is really working with him.
- He discovered Clay upon listening to EOFire podcast. He was a struggling business owner at that time in Canada. He wanted to grow his business to US but he doesn’t have enough leads to generate enough sales. He then listened to Clay and realized he needed coaching and advice. Clay offered a free 13 point assessment which he went through and got the result that he needed. That was 2 years ago and has worked with Clay since then.

- There are 4 steps to become a super entrepreneur to take note of. Step 1 is to find the problem, step 2 is to solve the problem, step 3 is to sell the solution and step 4 to nail it and scale it.
- When he first heard of bunkielife.com, he knew that their product solves a problem about having extra square footage or office space for homes and offices. They moved beyond the prototype in a first class manner and they are getting traction and are already selling something. What David needed is to nail it and scale it to reaching more people. He knew also that David is coachable and approachable and his product is first class and he knew that David will be a great fit for this business coaching program.
[7:10] – Clay talks about The Power of Implementing Scalable, Easy-to-Implement & Turn-Key Sales System.
- If you want to build an organization, step 1 is you need to be organized. Meeting super successful people in his in-person workshops , he saw that the best organizations are organized.
- It is only through intentional focus that you will be able to scale a company. You have to be organized and have a checklist of what are the core, repeatable and actionable processes that you need to implement on a daily basis. Those things should be documented to be organized because once you become organized , you can build an organization.

[14:14] – Clay talks about KPIs and The Power to Knowing our Key Performance Indicators & (very importantly) Holding our Team Accountable.
- They created a turn key system for the things that are working and disregard the things that don’t work with the assumption that there is already a great product.
- They create a 3-legged marketing stool which is a stable process for marketing. For David’s case it was search engine optimization, focus on gathering video testimonials and google reviews of clients and to create an ideal system where David can reach out to his buyers. These are documented to build the systems. To know if they are doing enough, the KPI’s come in play.
- You have to document the plan and track it and diligently implement that system.
- People tend to drift if they don’t have a documented plan. You have to document those systems in a way that it is very accountable, very specific and detailed so that all these systems that are implemented can be measured.
- You must measure what you treasure because you are going to slack when you don’t track.
- Its all about the metrics. Document what works, make a KPI and track the numbers that matter to your business.
[17:21] – David shares what was the one meaningful process that Clay shared to him.
- It is tracking. What was added to what he has done in 2 years is the amount of regularity and emotional stability, a little bit of knowledge and emotional foresight to his business especially when he is experiencing not so good times in his journey as an entrepreneur.
[19:10] – Clay shares his view why 96% of businesses fail and what we can do about it.
- They get stuck in step 3 where they can’t sell anything. That’s where a lot of people call themselves as entrepreneur, they have a problem, they have a solution, they have to sell and nail it and scale it.
