- It’s not because of the product you promote – in order to build a great business, you need to develop a relationship with your audience and maintain that relationship.
- The best part about an email is that it is very easy to get.
- Once you have an email list of around 20-40k, it’s like being able to speak to a New York Yankees stadium full of people everyday!
- Email allows you to broadcast out immediately and instantly communicate impact, influence, and build and maintain relationships.

- The Internet was actually invented because an email was sent.
- 66% of people who have an email address said that they had made a buying decision as a result of an email.
- 72% of people prefer to receive communication from companies and businesses via email.
- How you collect someone’s email depends on your business.
- A brilliant email marketer is not a brilliant writer. They’re just good at building relationships.
- The first thing you need is a page or a box on your website that asks for someone’s email address and collects it.
- The second thing you need is the gift you’re going to give in exchange for that email address.
- The third thing is an auto responder.
- Fourth is a monetization strategy.
- People who are trying to build an email business, in many cases, are doing it wrong. They’re out there trying to monetize too quick and too abrasively.
- Fifth thing that you need is emails!

- When you’re starting, just pick one – you don’t need all three. It’s too confusing. That will be the fastest way to get 10,000 emails.

- One is to tell a story.
- Two is content; you’ve got to deliver value.
- The second element to getting someone to spend money with you is credibility.
- Three is a sales email.
- Humans love to buy. It is scientifically proven. When they purchase, they get a high. It’s like being on a drug.
- Once you’ve become really good at this stuff, you can do a hybrid email—that’s when you tie a story and then go into a sales email – you use the story to sell someone something.

- First, cost per acquisition is still a great place to go.
- Second, affiliate commission: that’s you endorsing a program and getting a commission for the sales you get.
- Third, is your own product.
