I will be the first to admit…I spend WAY too much time in my inbox. Why is this an issue?

Other Peoples Agenda.
Your inbox is full of people trying to put YOU on THEIR agenda.Is a tidy inbox important to a successful business?
Yes.
However…YOUR agenda must always come before O.P.A.
Period.
I am going to share some tools I use to keep my agenda at the forefront of my life in a bit…but first…let’s chat.
EntrepreneurOnFire is the success it is today because I establish a plan, and then I EXECUTE on that plan with ferocity until that plan of action is complete.
There is no Facebook, there is no Insta, there is no Periscope and there DEFINITELY is no inbox.
There is one laser focus on one major task. When the task is complete, I move onto other things. Until it is…NOTHING else matters.
I use a ‘To do’ tool called Workflowy to prioritize. Nothing feels better than deleting a task I completed.
I LOVE that feeling. I want YOU to fall in love with that feeling.
We are building a foundation for our business one task at a time. Embrace that philosophy.
Emails pour in every day from people who want to get their ‘thing’ off the ground, but never seem to find the time.
I promise you, if I spent a day with them, I would RIP THEIR DAY TO SHREDS.
There would be HOURS of wasted time I would point to in their day…and I would mostly get blank stares in return.
I know where I waste time, and I continue to work on it. I’ll never be perfect, but I’ll keep getting better. Can you join in this pledge? To honestly identify your soft spots in your day and TIGHTEN THEM UP!
Tools that I use:
Boomerang for Gmail. This tool allows me to STOP email conversations and still get to inbox zero. Google it, you’ll understand exactly what I mean when you do.
Inbox Pause. Another awesome tool. How many times have you gone in to ‘write a quick email’ but then saw 5 messages you were going to take ‘take care of quickly?’
Happens to me all the time. Inbox pause allows me to pause my inbox and only get new messages when I CHOOSE to un-pause.
Brilliant.
