Part 1 of 5
Jill woke up to the alarm, and the anxiety immediately set in.
It was Monday, and that meant another week of soul sucking work.
In a zombie like state, Jill went thru the morning motions; shower, brush teeth and hair, breakfast, and then still bleary eyed, Jill stumbled out the front door to her 2014 gold camry.
Jill arrived to work and plopped down in front of a computer, preparing to spend the day hunching over a keyboard and straining at outlook’s inbox.
Jill would pinch herself to stay awake, but she felt numb all over…
That thought made her ask herself: When’s the last time I felt ALIVE?
Sure, she enjoyed weekends, but they were mostly for catching up on sleep, shopping and friends, and over in a blink.
Suddenly, a spark flickered somewhere in the depths of her creative brain that had been dormant for so long.
The flickering light brought her back to a time when she DID have passion, excitement, and FIRE in her life.
It was 7 years ago, and Jill was on a vacation with her boyfriend in Utila, Honduras.
They both learned how to Scuba Dive, and Jill fell in LOVE with the sport.
She felt more alive under water than in any other experience in life.
Over the next 3 years, every trip Jill took was to a different Scuba diving destination.
In fact, thinking about it now, it was the three happiest years of her life.
But then life took over.
She landed her current job, and her 2 weeks of vacation were dedicated to visiting family across the country.
There was no time for Scuba, and frankly, even with this ‘great job’, there was no money.
Jill was living living paycheck to paycheck.
Working at a job she despised just to keep the wheels on her bus moving.
This suppressed memory of Scuba was now flickering into a flame, and for the first time in a LONG time, Jill saw a way out of her life of drudgery.

Part 2 of 5
Jill drove home with excitement for the first time in a long time.
Usually, a microwave dinner and Downton Abbey reruns awaited her, but tonight, Jill was on a mission!
Jill jumped online and after an hour or so of searching for killer Scuba Diving vacations, she found herself feeling the same way she had when she conducted these same searches 4 years ago, frustrated.
There was not a single website that offered Jill the information she wanted in a simple to understand and clear manner.
Jill KNEW the world was full of other Scuba enthusiasts who were likely feeling her same frustration.
Opportunity knocked, and Jill answered.
Jill decided then and there that she would create THE resource for Scuba divers who were looking for information on Scuba vacations, and she was ON FIRE!
Now it was time to take ACTION, and Jill was up to the task :-)

Part 3 of 5
A lot happened over the next two weeks…
Jill gave her two week notice, subleased her apartment that was eating up half her salary, and rented a studio that was 1/3 the cost and twice the ease of mind.
Jill looked at her savings and saw that she had 6 months of runway saved up IF she bootstrapped.
For the first time in a LONG time, Jill was EXCITED to wake up in the morning.
She started creating the outline of what the perfect website would look like for those looking for scuba vacations, and came up with her company name; ScubaCations!
Jill knew she needed to start generating revenue as soon as possible to keep her dream alive, and she knew a course that guided beginner Scuba Divers through every step of the process, from how and where to get certified, to what to expect, and so much more…was SUPER needed in her niche.
Luckily, Jill listened to EOFire and heard David Siteman Garland on episode 1471 talk about how to Create and market your online course, and she signed up for the FREE webinar they were hosting on Thursday, November 3rd, 2pm EST.
Jill couldn’t wait for the Webinar, and for her new life to begin.
She was prepared to IGNITE!

It was now Friday, the day after the FREE webinar JLD and DSG hosted on Thursday, November 3rd, 2pm EST on Creating and Marketing YOUR online course!
Jill couldn’t believe how awesome the webby was, and she mapped out plan of what her course on Scuba Diving for Beginners was going to look like.
She had joined Create Awesome Online Courses LIVE on the Webinar because of all the AWESOME bonuses, and she was even going to use JLD’s Freedom Journal (which he gave to every person who joined) to launch her course in 100 days!
Jill’s website was coming along, and she simply loved working on it.
‘Work’ was no longer a chore, but something she looked forward to each day.
The amount of knowledge she was gaining on Scuba diving was incredible, and it fueled her passion for the sport even more!
For the first time, Jill saw a happy future, and she couldn’t wait for the journey that would take her there!

Part 5 of 5
Four months have passed, and Jill is a happy camper.
Using Create Awesome Online Courses and The Freedom Journal, Jill launched her course Scuba Diving for Beginners and brought in $14,750.
That extends her runway another 9 months, and she’s currently using DSG’s guidance to turn the course into an evergreen funnel so she can generate sales while she sleeps!
Plus, the website is picking up traction and she is even going to be starting a weekly Podcast on the topic!
Jill has a lot of things going on right now, and hired her first full time Virtual Assistant, and she couldn’t be more excited as to where her business is now.
It all started 5 months ago with a flicker of an idea, and by investing in herself Jill has shrugged off the chains of drudgery and is living a happy, fulfilling, passionate life!
Do you see a little of yourself in Jill?
I know the 2011 JLD would have seen a LOT of similarities.
