[1:21] – Allen shares something that he believes about becoming successful that most people disagree with.

• Most people want to celebrate their success and accomplishments but he believes in celebrating the bad days because he learn something from it. Stay motivated and be productive even if it’s the bad days.

[2:39] –  Allen starts with a quote.

• We are not defined by how we do on our good days but on how we endure and overcome on our bad days. Its important to realize what character we have during the bad days. There’s so much behind one’s success that is worth celebrating because the process is not easy before we get that success.

[3:49] – Allen tells more about being Born at 40.

• There comes a point in someone’s life that he thinks he can’t drop everything and start over. He is now 40 but he is starting over from corporate to entrepreneurship. He is taking what he learned from the first 40 years and apply it now. He is being reborn at 40 with so many tools that he will apply and focus it specifically on what he wants to achieve.

[5:40] – Allen talks about the transition from Corporate to Ownership.

• He started at entry level after he was laid off from his job. He decided to start on something that he likes to do. When he was in corporate he was successful in making profit with his teams and he realized he got to stop making money for others and start making money for him and his team. He wants to be a business owner but  he doesn’t know what business he can own.
• He received an email offering free consultation to find the right business for him. He wrote back and went through the process of selecting a franchise that would actually benefit him and the franchise.

[11:14] – Allen shares his feeling as a new entrepreneur.

• It’s a struggle because there are so many days that is working out for him but at the end of the day, he celebrates it because he made it and learned something from it and bring him a little bit closer to his goal.
• He talks to new entrepreneurs like him who share the same struggles and also to other entrepreneurs who are open to reach out because they have also gone through the same  experience.

[14:14] – Allen talks about his franchise hunt, what it looked like and how it ended.

• The Broker that he went to asked him with many detailed questions which he answered thoroughly. After he gave his answers, he came back to him with 5 options of service franchise that would work for him because it is what he wants to do.
• He narrowed the options into 2 and asked for more information and the process. In the end he chose Fibrenew which is a franchise that is eco-friendly and recession proof. He selected the franchise that best fits his personality and what he wants to do. Also, it is the franchise that has a proven system for 35 years with locations worldwide.
