- She doesn’t believe in the advice “just be yourself” particularly for entrepreneurs and professionals, because it sabotages the very goals that they need to create.
- In order to achieve one’s goals and dreams, the need on how to grow and evolve is more helpful.

- The one constant in every career is the relationships that you build.
- You will not have a career all by yourself. You will need advocates, supporters, mentors and enablers especially when you are aiming high.

- In entry level, relationships are built within your network but once you acquire years of experience , you want to grow your business and build relationships outside your network to get recommendations and referrals upon earning their trust.

- As she looked back in her personal experience as an engineer, the missing link was communication. To be able to connect and relate her message with her superiors , sponsors and customers was the reason she was overlooked and dismissed.
- Proper communication is needed to close the gap between hard work and achievement.
- It takes a lot of self-awareness with some coaching and mentoring of somebody who can point out your blind spots.

- Coaching on the other hand are individuals that you hire outside your company which you decide to invest in believing that it will give good results.
