Today’s Audio MASTERCLASS: From $7.25 to 7 Figures With Amazon FBA with Joshua Crisp
[1:36] – Joshua shares something he believes about becoming successful that most people disagree with.
- A consistent and dedicated workout trumps any skill.
[2:10] – What is Amazon FBA?
- Amazon FBA is a partnership with Amazon where they handle everything from picking, packing, storing, and shipping products for sellers.
- On the consumer side, Amazon Prime members enjoy fast and free shipping.
- As a seller, you benefit from Amazon’s logistics and access to a broad customer base.
[3:19] – What is “private label”, and how is that different from other FBA methods, such as wholesale or arbitrage?
- There are three main strategies for selling physical products: private label, wholesale, and arbitrage. With wholesale, you distribute well-known brands at a discount. With arbitrage, you buy products on sale and sell them at retail.
- Private label involves creating your own brand and selling unique products.
- The pros of arbitrage are low startup costs, but it’s not sustainable due to fluctuating sales. Wholesale doesn’t require product creation, but it faces stiff competition from big distributors.
- Private label offers more control and intellectual property, making them the preferred choice for long-term success and higher business valuations.
[7:07] – Joshua gives one or two examples of private labels
- He launched a successful bath bomb set that generated over a million dollars.
- He used data-driven research to find the right product, focusing on what consumers love and hate.
- He solved a common problem by offering various variations, releasing new ones each month.
- He used both organic and paid traffic through Amazon’s PPC system.
- Additionally, he partnered with influencers to promote his product on social media and blogs.
