3 Value Bombs
1) Great teachers simplify context, they walk the talk, they are a master of their craft, and they have a bigger mission beyond just giving information.
2) Understand what problem you want to solve in this world and who you want to serve. Once you get these two things in place, doors will start to open up.
3) Innovation happens when you’re ok with the unknown and are able to try something new – push the boundaries every single time.

Today’s Audio MASTERCLASS: How to Redefine Our Broken Education & Employment System for Good.
[1:17] – Sidz shares something that he believes about becoming successful that most people disagree with.
- It’s all about failing fast and failing forward – be a one mistake learner.
[2:12] – The 11 problems with the current system of education.
- The first problem is the lack of vision for the future. A lot of stuff being taught in school is not relevant to where the world is heading.
- The second problem is it’s built on the foundation of memorization.
- The third is outdated topics.
- Fourth problem is the evaluation system. You cannot evaluate somebody based on the number of days in a year.
- The fifth problem is the student-teacher ratio. It needs to change.

[7:38] – The 11 problems with the current system of education. (Con’t)
- Problem number 7 is that the system is based on competition – the whole aspect of survival of the fittest being injected from kindergarten.
- The eighth problem is that the schooling system does not teach values.
- The ninth problem is the huge aspect of donation and capital fees, running through the hoofs and paying through the nose just to get in to a well-established university.
- The tenth problem is lack of personalization. It’s like a one-size-fits-all.
- The eleventh is that the school system doesn’t really teach community building.
[12:03] – The 10 problems of the employment system.
- The first problem is that they are mostly profit-focused – not mission-focused.

- Third is that the hiring process in most companies is very industrial.
- The fourth is that people start re-learning on the job. Whatever employees studied in college is not being applied on the job. They got the job because they have a degree, but the job requires a completely different set of skills.
- Number five is that people are unfulfilled in their careers.
[16:58] – The 10 problems of the employment system. (Con’t)
- Sixth is, once you get into a big company, the banks get you with a lot of loans.
- Number 7 is that big companies are literally depleting the environment.
- Eighth problem is stress and pressure. That’s why we see a rise of different health issues.
- Ninth is that employees lack innovation in life.
- The tenth problem is that people are living in fear, not adapting to things.
